The modernization of the water treatment system is aimed at improving the quality of drinking/process water, compliance with European standards, increasing energy efficiency, and introducing modern purification methods.
2024 – 2025
The main goal of the project - increasing the reliability and efficiency of water treatment (HWT) - has been achieved. The reconstruction work was aimed at increasing the operational reliability of CHP-3, which provides heat and hot water to the residents of Kharkiv.
The chemical water treatment plant (CWTP) is designed to prepare water of the required quality for the technological needs of the enterprise, consisting of three main treatment units.
Removal of mechanical impurities (sand, silt, suspensions, rust), removal of organic matter and bacteria.
Ultrafiltration system consisting of four units, each with a capacity of 220 m³/h of purified water, total capacity of 880 m³/h. Purification degree 0.01–0.1 μm.
Reduction of hardness and salt content (removal of dissolved salts, minerals, heavy metals).
Ultrafiltration system consisting of four units, each with a capacity of 220 m³/h of purified water, total capacity of 880 m³/h. Degree of purification 0.01–0.1 μm. Consists of seven reverse osmosis units, each with a capacity of 60 m³/h of demineralized water, total capacity of 420 m³/h. Degree of purification 0.0001 μm.
Consists of two two-stage reverse osmosis (RO-RO) units with a capacity of 50 m³/h each, total 100 m³/h — this is a scheme where the permeate from the first unit is fed to the second. It is used when it is necessary to obtain practically demineralized water.
