Restoration of Kharkiv: Major Repairs of Residential Buildings in Various City Districts
Restoration work continues in areas of Kharkiv damaged by shelling. The Kharkiv City Council has published new photos from construction sites where major housing repairs are already underway.
Pivnichna Saltivka: Major Renovation of the Building on Nataliya Uzhviy Street
Damaged structures are being dismantled in the multi-story building on Nataliya Uzhviy Street. According to the Department of Improvement, Restoration, and Reconstruction, the plans include:
- full roof restoration,
- replacement of windows and doors,
- upgrading engineering networks,
- installation of new elevators with equipment,
- repair of entrance areas and common spaces,
- insulation of the technical floor, basement, and building facade.
Shevchenkivskyi District: Roof Updates
In this district, roofs of apartment buildings damaged by Russian shelling are being restored. On Danilevskyi Street, new metal roofing is already being installed, along with replacement of gutter system elements. The work is expected to be completed by the end of May.
Repairs on Klochkovska Street
Major roof repairs are ongoing at the building on Klochkovska Street. The repair area covers 3,800 square meters. The old roofing has been removed and will be replaced with new roofing felt.
